- Drilling up to Ø 50 mm and tapping up to M30
- Inkjet marking
Kurganstalmost JSC is Russia's leading manufacturer of steel bridge structures. With an annual production output of 65,000 tons, the company covers 25% of the Russian bridge construction market.
The basic competitive advantage of the company lies in the production of complex steel structures for individual projects. In order to realize challenging projects and to be able to offer its customers individual solutions, Kurganstalmost has been using a MicroStep drilling rig of the DRM series since 2011.
The bridges manufactured in the Kurgan plant can be found in cities from the Far East to Europe: in Germany, Turkey, Afghanistan, Laos, China, Kazakhstan, Belarus and in many Russian cities.
Kurganstalmost JSC has also produced steel components for the Olympic Stadium in Sochi.
Kurganstalmost JSC decided to invest in a cutting machine of the DRM series. With a working area of 28,000 x 3,600 mm, the system is ideal for the processing of large format sheets. The system is equipped with a drilling unit for drilling up to 50 mm diameter and tapping up to M30 as well as an inkjet marker.
