Modern location with direct traffic connection
Since its inception in 1991, MicroStep's head office changed several locations until finally settling in a newly built headquarters on the outskirts of Slovakia's capital Bratislava. Completed in fall 2011, the 5-storey head office is in a close proximity of Bratislava Airport, with direct connection to highways towards Slovakia, Austria and Hungary. The headquarters benefits from Bratislava's direct position on the border with Austria and Hungary, with the international Vienna Airport being only 45 minutes away, and thus being able to welcome visitors from abroad conveniently.
Administration and development center
The modern facility totals a 6,205 m² of office and workshop areas. Apart from the company management, its 30+ offices provide seat for MicroStep's R&D teams in Design and Software, and for Sales, Marketing, Service, Technology, Project, Finance, Spare Parts, IT and Electrical Production Departments. The building features a 385 m² Mechatronic Laboratory equipped with MicroStep plasma, laser, waterjet and oxyfuel cutting and drilling technologies. Aside the main building, another 4 development halls totalling 2,200 m² provide ground for development and testing of MicroStep products in cutting, automation and robotics.
The MicroStep Administration and Development Center – that being the official headquarters name – provides jobs for 100 highly skilled employees. Additionally, MicroStep's subsidiary MicroStep HDO with a workforce of approx. 60 employees has also its main seat in the building.
