This time it took a little longer: SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN opens its doors in 2023. Then, from 11 to 15 September, the world of sheet metal processing will be looking to the Essen Exhibition Center. Innovations for more efficiency and process reliability will be presented by MicroStep in Hall 6. Visitors will be able to experience innovations in laser and plasma cutting technology live, as well as material handling systems that enable automated loading and unloading of sheets, pipes and profiles. Also a focus topic: Digitization
Every four years, SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN presents the latest innovations in the joining, cutting and surfacing industry. After the cancellation for 2021, it will take place again two years later. Around 1,000 exhibitors from 40 nations and more than 50,000 visitors are expected by the trade fair organizers. News from the world of multifunctional cutting technology with a high degree of automation will be presented at the MicroStep booth.
"In our development department with more than 100 employees, we are constantly working on solutions that provide our customers with maximum flexibility and efficiency in production. Especially in the field of automation, we will show innovations that extend the advantages of a MicroStep system – multifunctionality, precision, process reliability – by automated material handling", says Alexander Varga, Ph.D., head of R&D of the MicroStep group.
The exhibits will be announced at a later date.
